I don't know much details, but there is/was some festival of popular music, at which Pink Floyd have performed. Also, Peter Gabriel used to live here for quite a long while :)

The airport has been closed for some time now (May 2020) and is in preparation for re-development. The lights have been removed from the runway. The air ambulance has been moved from here to the crook between the M4 and M5 to the west of their junction (51,33, 02,33, approx).

A nice place to work, between 'the tumps' and the 3 rivers nature reserve. Kingfishers known to have nested on the brook that parallels station road, juxtaposing the A38 and Patchway Roundabout..

Would any allotment owners please check sheds for her as we have only been in BS9 1DZ for 4 weeks. She has half a tail due to being the runt of the litter. Please please please get in touch if you think you have seen her. Thank you. Sharon Fraser.

Eastville Market is open every Friday from 8am to 2.30pm. The Fruit and veg Stall is there every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 2.30pm. It is only closed the first week after Christmas. The person who said there was no-one there at 10am on a Sunday morning probably went to the wrong place because I was there all day on Sunday. The post code is BS5 6XX next to Wai Yee Hong. The fruit and veg stall is open in all weathers and accepts payment by cash or card.
